Maisie Williams sent a tweet out into the universe and she got a lot more than she bargained for.
Yesterday, the Game Of Thrones star took it upon herself to ask Twitter users to send her old pictures of herself and her on-screen sister Sophie Turner for her amusement.
And boy did the internet respond…
I don’t think Maisie was prepared for the tidal wave of pictures which were about to be sent her way, but they came aplenty, Mashable reports.
This was her simple request:

They didn’t stop there though. Hundreds more poured in for Maisie’s entertainment…
Or perhaps their penchant for battles and skills with swords has always been there…
Some of the pictures that popped up were very strange indeed…. what is going on here?
And some of them were just really nice…
I think it’s fair to say the internet gave her a little bit more than what she asked for there.
Maisie obviously realised the consequences of her Twitter request but it was far too late for regret.
It’s nice to see her and Sophie haven’t changed much at all and are still best friends after all this time.
This is just a small selection of the gifts that were bestowed upon the popular actress though. But then, she did ask…
