I’ve been to a Broadway show and let me tell you, holding my p*ss in for an hour straight was a much better decision than standing up in the middle of a Chicago performance. This guy, however, thinks a lot differently than I do.
During a Broadway production of Hand to God at the Booth Theatre in NYC, one audience member casually got up, walked to the stage, crawled onto it then attempted to charge his phone. No, he didn’t just go to the bottom of the stage to find a socket, the rude b*stard actually shuffled into the set and used what turned out to be a fake plug socket. Because, you know, sets aren’t real.
Website Broadway Adjacent even reports that when stewards returned the man’s phone, he asked: “Well, where can I charge it?”
Wow. New York, everybody.
