Twenty one-year-old Kiaron Thomas ventured out in the middle of a busy Florida street on Tuesday with a portable table, chair and a plate of pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon.
In accordance with his intentions, Thomas received lots of attention, not only from the Internet, but unfortunately also from the police.
A man told a 911 dispatcher:
There’s a gentlemen sitting in the middle of the road with a folding table eating. Eating. Just sitting in the middle of the road eating with a chair and a folding table.
The police did not manage to catch Thomas at the scene, but after the video went viral, they tracked him down, living about 100 yards away from the road.
YoutubeDespite Thomas explaining the whole thing was a prank, the police have charged him with placing an obstruction in the roadway and disrupting the free flow of traffic.
You’d think the police would have bigger fish to fry.
