This is the shocking moment an Asian woman was beaten in Australia repeatedly by a former security worker who’d been stationed in Iraq.
34-year-old Steven Burke can be seen approaching Jing Song, 29, in the shocking footage, where she tells him: ‘You are punching a woman.’
Burke then lunges at her as she attempts to dodge him.
She can be heard crying for help but it doesn’t stop the man’s vicious assault.
The incident occurred as Song was walking her dogs with a friend through Mosman, New South Wales, on October 3. 2016 at around 11.00pm.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Burke apparently told Song to ‘go back to China’ before punching her five times in the face and kicking her in the stomach, a court heard.
Channel Seven aired the disturbing footage:

Burke later pleaded guilty to recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm and sentenced to nine months in prison.
Ms Guo, who was with Song at the time of the attack, told police:
He was talking but we couldn’t hear what he was saying.
He let go of his dog and walked across the road to us and said, ‘Get out of my place, get away with your dogs.’
He was moving his arms. He said ‘I’m going to punch you’. He said, ‘fucking Asians, go back to your country with your dogs.’ He said this three or four times.
Song suffered facial injuries so bad they required surgery and was off work for six weeks due to emotional trauma.
