A man hit the jackpot when he found $4000 cash in a box of fried chicken from the Bojangles’ chain in America.
James Minor of Henrico County, Virginia originally complained after receiving a box of cold chicken, but when staff brought him a fresh box, he found $4000 in cash and deposit slips.
Being an honest man, he gave it back to the manager, who wasn’t especially grateful – instead of thanking him he told Minor he would have called the cops if he hadn’t come back. Mr Minor told WVTR:
Here I am doing a good thing, bringing the money back. Most folks probably would’ve kept on going and wouldn’t have recognized it until they got home.
