Pub toilet graffiti can be a wonderful thing.
It’s an ever-present reminder of terrible life quotes, who ‘woz ere 2k16’, and what numbers to call if you want a ‘good shag’.
You’d never actually call those numbers, but what if you did? Turns out one man did, and he found true love.

Ellis, from Brighouse, decided to text a number which had been scrawled on the toilet walls of his local pub, with the instructions: “If you want a good sh-g call Donna on…”
Donna Roberts’ ex had apparently written the crude invitation, unbeknownst to her.
After Mark text her the pretty classic line, “Hi. What are you up to?” She actually responded.
Donna Roberts, a legal secretary, was on the receiving end of the text, and was a tad confused by how Mark had found her number, but the couple soon struck up a conversation, met up, and eventually fell in love with each other.
Donna said:
It was days before he told me how he got my number.
I was stunned. I had to get a new phone so no one else could ring.

Speaking to The Sun, Mark said: “I was curious to know if it was a real human being. We still laugh about it.”
The couple now have two kids, aged eight and nine, but they are yet to inform them how their parents first met.
While Donna said she should thank her ex for doing her a favour, she added: “I usually say that he texted me by mistake.”
So if you want a ‘good shag’ – or maybe an actual relationship – take advice from Mark, text that number scrawled on the dirty pub toilet wall. You may just find love.
