A man claiming to be the bloke who brawled with tween idol turned sulky man-child, Justin Bieber, has come forward to explain his side of the story.
Last Thursday footage of Biebs fighting with a man, who’s built like a brick shithouse, went viral and appeared to show the Canadian singer getting slapped on the side of the head before a scuffle broke out, The Sun reports.
Now though the mystery fighter’s revealed himself as Lamont Richmond and he’s taken to Facebook claiming that all he’d been after was Justin’s autograph before the fight broke out.
In a deleted video Richmond, said:
The fool ran up on me. I was with the girls. We just asked the n**** for an autograph. I don’t know about all this other stuff y’all talking about. I’ve got nothing else to say.
They asked the little guy can they take a picture with him he said hell no get out his face so I said what the hell wrong with you. Then he threw a punch and you see from the video what I had to do.
TMZ released the footage late on Wednesday night, and the grainy video shows how quickly things escalated between the 5’7″ singer and the 6’5″ Lamont, just outside Justin’s hotel.
Despite clearly being on the losing side of things Justin’s laughed off the fight in the only way vain millennials can, with an Instagram post.
The factory-produced teeny bopper idol took a selfie with the caption saying: ‘Not a scratch on this pretty boy!’
I bet he wasn’t that confident when Lamont swung for him…
