A man with somewhat distinguishable features is wanted by police after he allegedly stole more than $500 worth of vibrators.
The as-of-yet unknown man allegedly stole a number of sex toys from an adult store in Surfers Paradise on Queensland’s Gold Coast, all while sporting a curly mullet and part-shaved head.
The man’s face, neck, and head were also completely covered in tattoos featuring phrases such as, ‘never take my soul’ and ‘death before dishonour’.
According to News.com.au, police believe the tattooed man could potentially be linked to several other robberies and burglaries in the area.
Police released a picture of the man wanted in connection with the sex shop robbery, in the hope that his unusual style will help members of the public recognise him.
Police also shared CCTV footage of what they say is the same man robbing another Gold Coast store earlier this month.
You can watch the footage below:
In the video, a man asks a staff member behind the counter whether he can take a look at some adult toys. He’s wearing a cap so his face cannot be seen from where the camera’s positioned.
As the store’s employee hands over the items, the suspect is seen running from the store with said items in his hands. It’s alleged he has stolen more than $500 worth of merchandise.
Gold Coast police say the man is also wanted for the theft of two cars, the theft of a mobile phone and the theft of two sour gecko lollies from a Surfers Paradise convenience store.
Anyone who spots the man or has any information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
It seems the mulleted man isn’t the only thirsty person in Queensland willing to break the law to get their hands on a sex toy, as one man was caught on camera last month walking out of a sex shop with a variety of sex toys.
The man, who was also hard to miss in pink shoes and neon green sleeves, entered the BeDaring Adult Shop in Caboolture, Queensland, on June 29 and allegedly stole a number of items.
The store uploaded footage of the incident on social media, while mentioning the items stolen by the man – a 7.5″ squirting dildo and a sex machine stand. Yikes.
Take a look at the video below:
Anyone with information about the theft or the man’s identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
With police hot on the tails of both men, I think it’s fair to say the moral of the story here is just to pay for your own sex toys.
Simple.
