Tonight may be Brad Pickett’s final bow in the UFC, but Marc Diakiese has taken the plaudits for a one-punch finish.
The Congolese fighter who trains in Manchester, England, needed just 30 seconds to comprehensively dispatch Finland’s Teemu Packalen.
The 24-year-old kncoked Packalen back with a heavy kick to the body, and lived up to his ‘Bonecrusher’ nickname with a savage right hand.

And it was no more than Diakiese had promised before the bout…
Ahead of the fight he told UFC.com
He’s tall, likes to grapple and comes forward uncontrolled, which I’m looking to use to get the finish. And if he doesn’t come forward, I’m still looking to finish him anyway.
And the fighter on the rise promised big things are to follow, vowing that he will ‘go all the way to the top’.
