Martyn Hett’s ‘Soulmate’ Confirms Death Following Manchester Terror Attack

Martyn Hett who was reported missing after Monday night’s terrorist attack at Manchester Arena is the latest confirmed victim.

The 29-year-old PR manager from Stockport was at the Ariana Grande show with friend, Stuart Aspinall – but the two became separated at the end.

Martyn’s death was confirmed by his boyfriend Russell Hayward.

He tweeted:

We got the news last night that our wonderful, iconic and beautiful Martyn didn’t survive. He left the world exactly how he lived, centre of attention. I’m in a really bad way so please forgive if I don’t reply.

Thankfully I have his wonderful and amazing friends to keep each other strong. I love you Martyn. I always will.

A social media campaign had been started to find Martyn, with comedian Jason Manford also appealing for help, tweeting: ‘Friend of my family is still missing. He’s called Martyn Hett, he was wearing a retro shirt and has a Deidrie Barlow tattoo on his ankle/calf.’

More victims of the attack have been named overnight by grieving friends and family.

Angelika and Marcin Klis, 40 and 42

Polish couple Angelika and Marcin Klis have been confirmed dead by the Polish foreign minister, after their daughter, Alex launched a tireless search on social media yesterday.

The York student wrote: “Anyone who is in any safe place or hospital in Manchester, if anyone comes across my parents please, please let me know as they’ve been missing ever since the attack.”

Olivia Campbell, 15

Olivia Campbell‘s mother, Charlotte, has confirmed the death of her 15-year-old daughter, sharing a tribute to the ‘precious’ youngster on Facebook in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Alongside a photo of Olivia Charlotte wrote on Facebook: “RIP my darling precious gorgeous girl Olivia Campbell taken far far to soon go sing with the angels and keep smiling mummy loves you so much.”

Alison Howe, 44, and Lisa Lees, 43

Alison Howe (left) and Lisa Lees (right), from Oldham, were killed in the foyer when the killer Salman Abedi detonated his bomb as they waited to collect their children from the show.

Alison’s stepson Jordan Howe confirmed the tragedy on Facebook writing: “They took a caring beautiful mum and step mother away from us all she was amazing to us all.”

Kelly Brewster, 32

Brave Kelly Brewster was killed when she shielded her young niece from the blast.

Kelly, an office worker from Sheffield has just put down a deposit on a new home with her partner, Ian Winslow, the day prior to the attack, her partner’s father told MailOnline.

John Atkinson, 26

True gentleman‘, 26-year-old John Atkinson, from Bury, was the third victim announced dead after the Manchester terror attack.

Tributes are being paid to the Bury man on social media and his friends and family have described him as an ‘amazing young man’ and ‘a beautiful soul’

Saffie Rose Roussos, 8

Saffie – ‘a beautiful little girl, loved by everyone’ according to her headteacher – is the youngest victim of a terror attack in Britain. She was the second person to be confirmed dead.

Her mother Lisa and Saffie’s sister are both currently in intensive care being treated for shrapnel injuries, and neith knows about the death of their daughter and sister.

Georgina Callander, 18

Georgina Callander, a college student and Ariana Grande super-fan was the first named fatality of this heinous atrocity. Georgina was described by a friend as ‘a beautiful girl with the kindest heart and soul’.

The teenager had tweeted on Sunday that she was ‘so excited’ to see Ariana Grande.
