A billboard for McDonalds has cracked a stoner joke but the big bosses have failed to see the funny side.
The Maccy’s franchise put up the billboard on the New Mexico/Colorado border to advertise its breakfast burritos.
Recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado so it would seem the billboard is just fitting in with local crowds.
The billboard reads:
Usually, when you roll something this good, it’s illegal!
Well, not in Colorado…
After one driver spotted the billboard and posted a photo of it online, it quickly went viral. And while the internet enjoyed the joke, but it’s safe to say corporate have not.
A McDonald’s representative told the Huffington Post:
This local franchise billboard does not meet our standards and is being taken down.
