A 62-year-old sniper claims he has taken out hundreds of ISIS terrorists in Iraq in just matter of months.
Abu Tahseen – who has fought in five previous conflicts – is a member of the Hashd Al-Shaabi, a Shia militia who are fighting the terror group.
He joined the fight against jihad in his home country in May last year and says he has since killed 177 fighters.
In this incredible footage, he is seen talking to his spotter as he looks through the scope of his massive sniper rifle at two enemies.
He targets them and suddenly pulls the trigger. After looking through the scope for a few more seconds, he seems pretty happy with what he’s seen as he says: “Sweet. Prayers to Mohammed and his family. Yes. Down in the valley.”
He proudly talks about how ISIS militants fear the area he defends, saying: “You see this area – I guarantee to god no-one would come up it.”
Tahseen is currently stationed at Makhoul Mountains in North Baiji and he says he refuses to leave the spot. Even when he was given a month off, he came back just 12 days later to defend his territory.
In the short clip, he also talks about the sheer power of his rifle and how he is pretty calm when he guns down his enemy.
He said:
I swear, I guarantee by God when he falls, this pushes him back a metre before putting him down. I’m relaxed, my mind is relaxed.
Tahseen is just one of many volunteer fighters who have fought ISIS in Syria, but have since returned to their homeland after the terror group gained a foothold in Iraq.
