Yevgeny PyatkovskyIn the latest alarming TV news, the real life Hunger Games contestants are going to face nine months of hell much sooner than expected.
The upcoming Russian reality show, called Game2:Winter throws players into the Siberian wilderness to fend for themselves. According to The Siberian Times, it will air this July.
The controversial program will see 30 condemned contestants fight for survival against wild beasts, the freezing temperatures, potential escapees from a local prison – and each other.
Yevgeny PyatkovskyDespite public outcry, producers have confirmed nothing will intervene in the filming of the ‘anything goes’ show, which will take place on the Ob river.
Contestants will be tracked and filmed on 2,000 cameras and their intrepid endeavours will be continually broadcast live on the web.
The show will candidly document all player activity – even scenes of rape, murder and live childbirth, should they occur.

They will be armed only with a knife and guns are strictly prohibited.

No, we won’t. I am pretty sure there will be fights, and more. We are not scared of negative reaction if that happens either. We will refuse any claim of participants even if they were to be killed or raped.
We will not intervene into relations between participants nor monitor their sexual life either, and our cameras will not be able to follow every move in every corner of the island.
They are free to form any couple or union, and there is no limits or rules regarding sex. If a woman falls pregnant – and manages to carry the baby – that’s fine with us. We will show the baby after the project is over.
Yevgeny PyatkovskyHowever, he insisted the participants will be punished for their actions ‘according to the Russian Criminal Code’.
The participants will be fighting for a 100 million Rouble cash prize. All that remains is to see how far they’re willing to go for the money.
