She said:

All I can say now is that I think Meghan was calculated – very calculated – in the way she handled people and relationships.

She is very strategic in the way she cultivates circles of friends. Once she decides you’re no part of her life, she can be very cold.

Wow. You ok hun?

Speaking about Meghan’s failed marriage she reportedly added:

I knew they fought sometimes, but it wasn’t anything huge. The only obstacle was the distance because she was living in Toronto and Trevor was based in LA.

I don’t believe she gave him enough of an opportunity. I think there was an element of ‘out of sight, out of mind’ for Meghan. The way she handled it, Trevor definitely had the rug pulled out from under him. He was hurt.

While most of the observers have wished Meghan and Harry all the best for their impending nuptials, one guy came out of the woodwork to see the funny side in proceedings now it’s been announced his successor is a British Royal.

Markle’s ex boyfriend, a chef called Cory Vitiello, reacted to the news Harry proposed while trying to roast a chicken by, well, roasting a chicken.

While the choice of cuisine could be perfectly innocent, captioned, ‘Never gets old’, some have speculated Cory’s Instagram post is part and parcel of a macho duel of skills, because apparently we live in the middle ages where men impress women with their prowess to win their affections…

To be fair, if the way to a woman’s heart was through her stomach, Cory, who dated Markle for two years back in 2012, might have been in with a shot, as his Instagram is a veritable Who’s Who of the dinner table.

Alas, silly sayings are not the key to finding true love and Meghan said yes to Harry, after meeting in 2014 and allegedly dating for the past 18 months, according to the rumour mill.

The happy couple, who joined BBC presenter Mishal Husain for their first TV interview, revealed Harry proposed ‘earlier this month’ at their cottage.

Meghan admitted it was ‘sweet, natural and very romantic’ and just a ‘standard typical night in’ for the pair.

Speaking about the moment he got down on one knee, Meghan said:

Just a cosy night, it was – what we were doing just roasting chicken and having … Trying to roast a chicken and it was just – just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee.

Let them be!
