Disturbing images of two guys dancing around an apartment with a dead dolphin before they allegedly ‘threw it out of a window’ has emerged on Snapchat, reports the Irish Independent.
The incident is reported to have taken place at the Parchment Square Student Accommodation complex on the Model Farm Road in Cork.
SnapchatThe apartments are closest to the Cork Institute of Technology (CIT), however it is understood that the two men involved are not students there.
A source told Independent.ie that the pair travelled from west Cork to the party, bringing the carcass with them although it’s not known how they came to be in possession of the grizzly item.
An employee at the complex discovered the dolphin on the grass outside one of the apartments the morning after the party and it has now been safely disposed of.
SnapchatCIT Students’ Union President Shane Falvey said he was unaware of the incident, but confirmed that the student accommodation was not officially part of the college and is completely independent.
A spokesperson for the Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals described the pair as ‘idiots’.

They’ll think twice before they do something like this again.
Police confirmed to Independent.ie they were not aware of the situation and Parchment Square Student Accommodation refused to comment.
