Michael Buble’s son, Noah, was recently diagnosed with cancer – but according to new reports, he has a 90 per cent chance of beating it after his chemotherapy.
Three-year-old Noah, who is being cared for in Los Angeles, is battling liver cancer and is set to undergo a four-month course of treatment, according to Argentinian magazine Gente.
Buble’s sister-in-law, Daniela Lopilato, told the magazine Noah is already undergoing chemotherapy for the illness and the family are hopeful he will recover, the Mirror reports.
She said:
If God wanted it to be discovered that way, it’s because he wants to save Noah.
Cancer is a horrible illness but we have faith in Noah being able to overcome this.
We know he will. The time to start a long and very difficult treatment has come but it’s got to be done.
They say that children are often strong enough to withstand chemotherapy… and my nephew is a warrior.
Michael and his wife of five years confirmed their son had cancer on the singer’s Facebook page last week.
Buble said his family, who has ‘always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children’, are ‘devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.’
