Michelle Obama has absolutely destroyed Donald Trump without even mentioning his name – and the Internet is in awe.
Speaking at a rally for Hillary Clinton in Manchester, New Hampshire, the First Lady described comments by the GOP presidential candidate made in an unearthed 2005 video as ‘shocking’, ‘demeaning’, and below the ‘basic standards of human decency’.
Slamming Trump’s lewd remarks and claiming ‘even a 6-year-old knows better’, Michelle received a massive amount of Twitter love on Thursday after delivering a legendary speech on behalf of the Clinton campaign.
Twitter users bowed down to FLOTUS, as usual, calling her address one of the most important speeches ever given in this nation.

The speech was an uncharacteristically direct attack from the first lady, who said she abandoned her ‘normal campaign speech’ because it would have been ‘dishonest and disingenuous to me to just move on to the next thing like this was all just a bad dream.’
And taking a look at Twitter’s reaction, it looks as though Obama’s speech will go down as one of the most important of this political cycle – a moment in which she crystallized the feelings of many women in the wake of the Trump tape.
In the 2005 video in question, Trump can be heard describing in how he uses his star power to force himself upon women, saying if you ‘grab them by the pussy, you can do anything.’

The Republican candidate has since dismissed these remarks as ‘locker room talk.’ But as Obama points out in her speech: “To dismiss this as ‘every day locker room talk’ is an insult to decent men everywhere.”
“This is not normal,” she said at one point. “This is not politics as usual.” At another she insisted that ‘strong men don’t need to put down women to make themselves feel powerful.’
She added: “I can’t believe that I’m saying that a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women.”
And her words are resonating with men and women everywhere:
Michelle Obama had a lot of great lines in her speech today. Yet it seems like a lot of men only highlight this particular one… https://t.co/DrBwfkLhS3
