The 14-year-old Stranger Things actor had weirded out some fans after discussing her friendship with the 31-year-old rapper, who she claims texts her and offers her advice ‘about boys’.
On a scale of 1 to 10, we would give her an 11. Millie Bobby Brown looks fabulous on the #emmys gold carpet, and she revealed that Drake is the man behind the curtain when it comes to her dating life! Hey, stranger things have happened! 😂 pic.twitter.com/6IVqG0CWPg

Speaking with Access Hollywood at the Emmy awards, Brown revealed:
I love him. I met him in Australia and he’s honestly so fantastic, a great friend, and a great role model.
We just texted each other the other day and he was like ‘I miss you so much,’ and I was like ‘I miss you more’.
About boys, he helps me. Yeah, he’s great, he’s wonderful, I love him.
After being asked for more details, Brown replied:
That stays in the text messages!
Brown has now addressed the backlash to the comments she made about her friendship with Drake, which some fans have described as being inappropriate given the age gap.
One person tweeted:
It is absolutely creepy af that Drake, 32 years old, gives ‘advice on boys’ to Millie Bobby Brown.
She is 14.Am I taking crazy pills? In what world is this even remotely okay?
Another said:
So wait
Drake went on a date with that eighteen year old after they’d ‘known each other for two years’
And he’s texting 14 year old Millie Bobby Brown about boys and relationships, which is textbook grooming behavior
…uh….

Taking to Instagram, Brown hit back at the criticism, stating:
Why you gotta make a lovely friendship ur headline? [sic]
U guys are weird…For real. I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. [sic]
I’m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don’t get to choose that for me. It’s nice to have people understand what I do. [sic]
Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships…jeez. [sic]
Drake, at the time of writing, has not made a comment on the situation.
