Millie Bobby Brown’s New Boyfriend Is A Huge Star

According to reports, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has a boyfriend and he’s probably the most famous person you’ve never heard of.

If the name Jacob Sartorius sounds unfamiliar to you fear not, it’s not that he isn’t famous, it’s probably because you’re old – just like yours truly and are therefore, not the audience he’s trying to appeal to.

With over 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube alone, singer Jacob Sartorius is creating material which, although wouldn’t be caught dead on my iTunes, would most likely turn on up on 8-year-old niece’s birthday playlist.

And that right there is the highest compliment I can pay to young Jacob’s music, I’m too old for it but for those maturing in the age of iPads and washing tablet challenges I can only assume it’s their jam?

While no one from either Millie’s or Jacob’s camp has confirmed the two are in a relationship, there have been clues via social media and according to Us Weekly, the two youngsters have been spending a lot of time together.

In January Sartorius sent out a series of tweets, which the Stranger Things star liked:

Brown isn’t being coy about her feelings either after she posted two photos of her hugging a bear, which was apparently a gift from Sartorius.

She also added the caption: ‘Thanks for the bear’, with Sartorius replying in the comments section: ‘[Of] course.’.

While this is a prime example of puppy love, some people have disapproved of their relationship (naturally), particularly as Millie is only 13 and her (apparent) boyfriend is 15.

People On Twitter were quick to give their opinion:

It remains unclear whether people’s grievances are to do with Jacob’s ‘lower form of celebrity status’ (when compared to Millie’s) or in regards to the two year age gap?

However, one of the main concerns in regards to their assumed relationship – and Millie in general, is the worry she may be maturing just a little bit too quickly before our eyes?

While the temptation is there for media outlets to fawn over her, it’s worth pointing out she’s still a child who still needs time to mature and grow.

Actor David Harbour, who plays Chief Hopper in Stranger Things, has praised her for being so mature at such a tender age but also warned, reports Variety:

I’m leery of blowing too much smoke up her already well-filled smoke a*s… Because I do feel that when I’m in the nursing home, I would like to be able to watch movies with her in her 30s and have her become Meryl Streep.

She has the potential for that to happen.

At the end of the day, they’re kids, so just let them be!

Any more focus on it is just creepy.

Hopefully, we won’t have to talk about Millie and Jacob in this kind of capacity… for a long while at least.

In Stranger Things news, while it’s been announced that the show has been renewed on Netflix for a third season, fans will be disappointed to know it won’t be airing until 2019.
