A teenage model had had her eyes gouged out, ears cut off and was allegedly stabbed 140 times in a vicious attack by her older sister.
Stefania Dubrovina, 17, was found mutilated in a 42-year-old photographer’s flat in Russia after the two sisters had been ‘partying’ with the man, news.com.au reports.
A police source said that the model’s sister, Elizaveta Dubrovnik, 19, was jealous of Stefania and waited until the man had left to buy more alcohol before attacking her.
The model’s eyes were then gouged out, her ears cut off, and her body badly cut.
Showman Stas Baretsky, 43, told Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda he had known the model for two years.
He said:
I called Stefania some hours before her death, she was crying. I asked her “what happened?” But she explained nothing. I only understood that she had some problems.
She was a modest and attractive girl, she took part in my shows. I am shocked.
Russian newspapers have reported that Elizaveta was extremely envious of her sister and would often copy Stefania’s style, hair and makeup.
Ekaterina Dubrovina, the girls’ aunt, called Stefania’s death a ‘shocking tragedy’.
She said: “My blood turns to ice. These poor children are not guilty in their gruesome childhood and in all their unhappy life which unfortunately ended for Stefania.”
According to reports, Elizaveta is in police custody on suspicion of murdering and mutilating her younger sister.
