As reported by the Daily Mail the collision occurred on a rural street in the Chinese city of Wuhu and was captured by traffic cameras.
The man on the bike appears to be trying to avoid a stationary bike in his lane, but as he swerves left he falls head first into the van’s path.

Absolutely horrifying.
Miraculously it has been reported that the man survived the stomach churning crash, and is believed to be recovering in hospital.
No doubt the fact he was wearing a helmet will have played a huge part in his chances of survival.
