It’s election day and music station MTV do not want you to forget it.
So just in case you’d forgotten, or were sitting down to watch some music videos or Catfish or something, they’ve come up with a plan…
The channel’s listings right through the day until 10pm (when polling stations close) simply state ‘Get Out And Vote’.
And programme information reads:
The polling stations are open across Britain, so head out and cast your vote. We’ll still be here with our all-day awesome playlists when you get back!
Back in 2010, 35 per cent of those who registered to vote, didn’t. In 2015, 34 per cent registered didn’t vote.
Don’t let this happen again.
So – you know what to do – GET OUT AND VOTE!
