Mums Share Comparison Photos Of Themselves And Kate Middleton After Giving Birth

Yesterday the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton gave birth to her third child, a beautiful newborn baby boy.

As she stepped outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital alongside her husband Prince William, Kate gave the world a first look at the fifth-in-line to the British throne.

The adorable moment of course was captured by the dozens of photographers who all wanted to get that perfect photo of the historical moment.

The currently unnamed newborn though had its spotlight stolen away from him as the simply dazzling Kate caught the eye of everyone.

Despite only giving birth hours earlier, Kate looked ready to step onto a red carpet dressed in a stunning red dress complete with nude-coloured heels, styled hair and subtle make-up.

Basically not the way you would expect someone to look after pushing out an actual human earlier that day.

Of course people rushed to social media to both congratulate the couple and gush about just how amazing Kate looked.

One Twitter user applauded the princess for her dedication to the world’s media saying:

Say what you want about Kate Middleton but fair f**ks to her putting on a cute dress and walking out to show everyone the new baby fresh out of giving birth.

I literally get one period cramp and I’m bed bound for three days.

Kendall was also rather impressed by Kate’s appearance tweeting:

Kate Middleton came out of the hospital looking like THIS only seven hours after she gave birth…

I’m over here looking like ultimate trash and all I have is a virus…

Michelle felt like we should all be toasting Kate with a drink hilariously writing:

Pour one out for Kate Middleton having to pose in full makeup and heels hours after shooting a human baby out of her clacker.

Some of the funniest reactions though came from a number of mums who took to social media to share how they looked just hours after giving birth.

The comparisons really are amazing with Ruth Parnell’s being one of our favourites!

Sharing a picture of herself after giving birth next to a photo of Kate standing outside with her baby on Instagram, Ruth simply wrote ‘expectation versus reality’.

At time of writing (April 24) the post has so far received 2,000 likes as other mums applauded Ruth for her honesty and humour.

Brogan also joined in the fun sharing a photo and her experience on Twitter writing:

I couldn’t feel my legs for hours after giving birth, I was in and out of sleep I was so, so tired. I couldn’t stand up and when I did, oh lord, I seen hell.

Well we think you all look great! Don’t forget Kate had the help of a hairdresser, stylist and make-up artist on hand to make sure she looked stunning!

Unluckily for us we can’t all be princesses!
