Uncharted‘s developers Naughty Dog took to the stage at Sony’s Paris Game Week to show a new cinematic trailer for the upcoming multiplayer.
While unfortunately not a trailer for the game or even actual multiplayer gameplay footage, the clip does show Drake, Sully, Elena and and Chloe kicking some ass and cracking wise while they do it.
Naughty Dog’s co-president Christophe Balestra explained that in the multiplayer, team’s will be able to summon AI sidekicks with special abilities to help turn the tide of battle.
The trailer also shows off some of the maps you can expect to be fighting in, from jungle ruins to urban alleyways, the Uncharted 4 multiplayer looks like its going to feature a variety of weapons and abilities.
It’s recently been announced that the Uncharted 4 multiplayer will contain microtransactions from the outset, but that they will not be necessary – everything can be earned with in-game currency.
The Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta will run from December 4 to December 13 for those who pre-ordered the Nathan Drake Collection, while the full game will release on March 18, 2016.
