Nelly, who is 44 years old, is on a US tour with Florida Georgia Line and they were set to perform Saturday night in Ridgefield, Washington.

TMZ has reported the alleged rape occurred on Saturday morning at around 3.45am, and that the alleged victim specifically identified Nelly as the perpetrator of the alleged rape.

The rapper previously had a tour interrupted for legal reasons when his tour bus was pulled over at a traffic stop because of non-conforming U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association stickers on Friday April 10, 2015.

In the subsequent search by Tennessee state troopers, methamphetamine, marijuana, over 100 ziplock bags and numerous handguns, including a gold-plated 50-calibre Desert Eagle pistol were uncovered.

Nelly was officially booked into the Putnam County Jail, was charged with felony possession of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He made bond on Saturday April 11, 2015 and was released on bail.
