A new Avengers: Endgame trailer just dropped out of the blue and it’s so incredible I might cry.
We are just over a month away from what is guaranteed to be one of the biggest events in cinematic history, if not the biggest.
Filled with exciting moments which made me loudly squeal in the office, the new trailer shows that the Avengers will do ‘whatever it takes’ to defeat Thanos.
Check it out here:
Opening on a black-and-white shot from the very first Iron Man movie, Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark can be heard saying ‘it seems like a thousand years ago I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man’.
We then cut to a scene of Tony’s partner, Pepper Potts, holding her head against the Iron Man helmet, as Tony says ‘I know we said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one’.
A scene from the first trailer is then shown, showing Tony gazing out to space, looking lost on a spaceship.
The latest trailer then treats us to shots from previous Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films including Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor and of course Avengers: Infinity War.
We also see more of Black Widow and Hawkeye’s reunion, a touching moment as they hold hands.
A new flashback scene then shows Hawkeye, aka Clint Barton, showing his young daughter how to use a bow and arrow, suggesting maybe this has something to do with why he takes on the Ronin identity.
It is likely the ones Clint loved, his family, did not survive the snap, hence the darker superhero identity.
After Thor says ‘I saw all these people die’, Captain America tells him and the other Avengers, ‘I keep telling everybody they should move on, and some do, but not us’.
Black Widow agrees, adding ‘even if there is a small chance, we owe this to everyone, to try’.
As we see glimpses of most of the Avengers including Rocket and War Machine, each one says they will do ‘whatever it takes’ to defeat Thanos.
Check out the new poster for Marvel Studios’ #AvengersEndgame. See it in theaters April 26.

One of the last shots of the trailer is the most glorious, as the sun bursts through the Avengers headquarters, casting a shining light on the team, as they step out in their new suits, led by Captain America of course.
But Marvel saves the best scene for the very end, giving audiences a glimpse at the Avengers’ newest recruit, Captain Marvel.
As Thor approaches her, he says ‘I like this one’. We do too Thor, we do too.
I honestly can’t wait to see her kick Thanos’ ass in the upcoming film!
Avengers: Endgame hits cinemas in the UK on April 25, 2019.
