Finally, there’s a new Fallout 4 mod that lets players take control of everyone’s favourite post apocalyptic canine – Dogmeat. It’s what we’ve all been waiting for, right?
The mod, imaginatively titled “Be The Dog — Playable Dogs,” was created byNexusmods user Abbalovesyou.
It allows you explore the Commonwealth as Dogmeat or some of the other, less important pooches seen in the wasteland.
Since Dogmeat is in fact a dog, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you that you’ll be unable to use the conventional Fallout weapons. Still, our friend is far from defenceless.
You’ll have a number of attack options, most of which amount to biting, jumping, or biting and jumping. Such variety.

This is a fitting tribute to Dogmeat, who actually won Best Videogame Dog at The Dog Awards recently.
