EA teased a whole host of new Star Wars games at their EA play event last night, with a montage of titles currently in development.
As well as future DLC for Star Wars Battlefront, we also caught glimpses of footage from upcoming Star Wars games from Criterion, Capital Games, DICE, Respawn Entertainment, Motive Studios and Visceral Games.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 has already been announced, but we now know that it’s going to feature characters and settings from the new Star Wars films and spin-offs like Rogue One. Sadly, there’s no word on if we’re actually going to get the space battles everybody asked for.
Another game teased was the mysterious, story driven project from Visceral, which is under the guidance of Uncharted series director Amy Hennig. There was a brief few seconds of pre-alpha cinematic thrown in for good measure, too.
One thing’s for sure: it’s a great time to be a Star Wars and gaming fan, as we’re about to get barraged with new titles. Red 5 standing by.
