If you were hoping the impact of The Walking Dead’s biggest villain yet will end when the identity of his victim is revealed in season seven, you may want to think again.

The Walking Dead is Negan’s world now, and everything is going to change according to the actor who plays him.

After Comic-Con dropped next season’s first sneak peek, fans of the show have grown even more impatient for the arrival of season seven.

And after that cliffhanger at the end of season six, devastation no doubt awaits fans of the show. But what exactly is going to happen next remains unknown. Until now.

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, Negan himself – or, in real life, Jeffrey Dean Morgan – weighs in on the destruction that his character will bring in the next season.

He said:

What you’re going to see in the first half of this season is Negan wreaking havoc. And some of your characters that you’ve grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it’s going to end badly for them. It’s going to be a whole new beginning for The Walking Dead. Really, we’ve taken the show and just flipped it upside down. It’s a different show now. It’s going to have a different feeling. You’re going to see your favorite characters in a position that they’ve never been in before, which is super vulnerable and victimized.

It’s a reset on The Walking Dead world. It’s f*cking Negan’s world now.

With the arrival of Negan and the introduction of The Kingdom, big changes are going to rock the group we’ve come to know and love. And we mean big. Probably even devastatingly big.

Going on what the guy who plays Negan has said, I’m going to take a wild guess and assume it’s going to be even worse than when Dale died back in season two.

Basically, have some tissues ready cause it’s going to be a fucking tear jerker.
