As if our inner child wasn’t already excited enough about the news that a Nickelodean crossover movie was on the way, now the network has confirmed that it’s bringing our favourite 90s TV shows back to our screens.

The network has gone all in and announced they’re creating a brand new channel called ‘The Splat!’ which looks set to show nothing but awesome cartoons from our youth.

And, judging by the first teaser trailer for the channel, it looks like Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, Angry Beavers, Ren & Stimpy, CatDog, The Wild Thornberrys, and Rocko’s Modern Life are all set to feature. Great news!

Besides giving us a great dose of nostalgia and allowing us to see all our favourites again, it also means younger viewers will get to see the cartoon goodness of the 1990s.

Now kids will know why we keep telling them that TV was so much better in our day!

The network is remaining coy on when the channel will officially be launched but, fingers crossed, it’ll be really soon!
