It feels like an age since we last got an update from the ambitious sci-fi explore-’em-up game No Man’s Sky, but devs Hello Games were building up to something big – this gorgeous new trailer.
At Sony’s Paris Game Week, fans of the upcoming game were treated to the glorious trailer below, as well as finally being told when to expect the game – June 2016.
That might feel like a long way off, but when you take into account the sheer scope of what No Man’s Sky is trying to accomplish with its near infinite amount of explorability, you can give Hello Games just a little bit of slack. But just a
little.
The trailer simply titled “I’ve Seen Things” takes us on a joy ride around the universe. Dodging command ships in the depths of space, touching down on an alien world for the first time and hurtling out of an attack cruiser into a space dogfight. I’ve got chills, and they are indeed multiplying.
No Man’s Sky will be coming to the Playstation 4 and PC on the same date, and it’s expected that the game will support full VR.
