North Korea has promised the complete annihilation of Japan in moments, in the eventuality of a nuclear war.
North Korea’s state media has said weapons will be dropped on Japan if the nation continues to push for sanctions against the ‘rogue’ state.
The Korean Central News Agency made this comment, promising ‘nuclear clouds’ if they continue with such a ‘suicidal deed’, reports the South China Morning Post.

The statement reads:
Japan’s such rackets inciting the tension of the Korean peninsula is a suicidal deed that will bring nuclear clouds to the Japanese archipelago.
No one knows when the touch-and-go situation will lead to a nuclear war, but if so, the Japanese archipelago will be englufed in flames in a moment. This is too self-evident.
The comments were made in reaction to the Japanese call for international sanctions against DPRK’s imports and exports, as well as restrictions on North Korean workers.
The Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe made the comments not long after North Korea had fired a number of ballistic missiles over northern Japan.
He said:
We must make North Korea abandon all nuclear and ballistic missile programmes in a complete, verifiable and irreversible manner.
What is needed to do that is not dialogue, but pressure.
International relations with North Korea have been strained over recent months, with Kim Jong-un and Donald Trump at the forefront of deteriorating levels of good-will between the ‘communist’ state and the UN nation.
Donald Trump has been placing very public pressure on North Korea and Jong-un by tweeting incendiary statements.
Just two days ago, Trump even told his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, to give up any hope of negotiating with North Korea.
He posted two tweets, saying:
I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man…
…Save your energy Rex, we’ll do what has to be done!
North Korea had previously stated their military operation was already in deployment, after Pak Yong-sik, North Korea’s armed forces minister, said the nuclear weapons ‘are fully prepared to be fired from launchers’.
The US has also been ratcheting up tensions after performing bomb drops on the North Korean border in a display of military power.
After Kim Jong Un’s failed nuclear test, Trump sent an ‘armada’ to northern Australia to position themselves strongly against North Korea and act as a warning.
A Pentagon spokesman said:
We call on North Korea to refrain from provocative, destabilising actions and rhetoric, and to make strategic choice to fulfil its international obligations and commitments and return to serious talks.
North Korea’s unlawful weapons programs represent a clear, grave threat to US national security.
The US is even planning to increase military pressure on the state by sending in the USS Ronald Reagan, a top Navy strike group.
This, rather than place pressure on Jong-un, might inflame situations, as the last time the US sent a Navy vessel so close to North Korea, military conflict almost erupted.
