A lot has been said about goalkeepers being able to play with their feet since the arrival of Pep Guardiola to Man City in the summer.
Joe Hart learnt the hard way that if you don’t have the skills to be a sweeper keeper you’ll be shipped off to Italy on-loan (not fun times).
But saying that, there is still definitely room in the game for goalies to stick to their 18-yard box, something this guy probably needs to realise sooner rather than later.
North Korea goalkeeper Jang Paek Ho tried channelling his inner Manuel Neuer during a final group game against Uzbekistan in the AFC Under-16 Championships, by claiming the ball half way into his own half following a goal-kick from his opposite number.
But for one reason or another Jang completely misjudged the trajectory of the kick as it looped over him.
This unfortunate cock-up doesn’t end there though, oh no. He has an opportunity to redeem himself as the goalbound effort slows down, but he inexplicably slips on the wet surface before the ball tumbles in.
It probably won’t come as any surprise to you that he was later substituted in their eventual 3-1 defeat.
It’s safe to say he can rule out any hopes of a future move to Pep’s City with that ball control (or lack of it).
