The prospect of The People’s President taking centre-ring in the Oval Office just got a lot more likely, and it’s caused more than a few raised eyebrows.
Days after a campaign dubbed Run the Rock 2020 was formally initiated on the wrestler’s behalf by political commentator, Kenton Tilford, the odds of Dwayne Johnson becoming President of the United States have sky-rocketed.
In the same week that the Democrats have filed for the 45th President, Donald Trump, to be impeached betting websites have slashed the odds on The Rock himself cooking up a storm at The White House.

The Rock is now 20/1 to win the 2020 election and elbow Donald Trump out of the Oval Office. A formal campaign committee has now been created and his supporters on social media are calling for him to make America rock again.
In May, we halved the odds on The Rock winning in 2020 from 100/1 to 50/1 after he revealed he was grappling with the idea of making a bid. While Trump remains 12/5 favourite, The Rock is now priced ahead of 2016 candidates Bernie Sanders and Hilary Clinton, who can each be backed at 25/1.
Vice President Mike Pence and Democrat Elizabeth Warren were joint second favourites at 7/1, followed by Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg at 16/1.
Odds Checker also lists Dwayne as having 16/1 odds through PaddyPower and William Hill, beating Hillary Clinton with 22/1 and Joe Biden with 18/1.
Johnson has previously shared his presidential ambition, writing on Instagram that he found the ‘real possibility… alluring’ and telling GQ he’d be all for a responsible and inclusive President, adding: “Personally, I feel that if I were president, poise would be important. Leadership would be important.”
On the season finale of SNL, Johnson even announced his intentions to run with running mate, Tom Hanks, in a skit that would send the nation’s pulses racing.
