Everyone hates paying fines, and if we can, we’d try to wriggle out of it.
That being said, one guy who has been accused of online piracy is going to some serious lengths in order to get out of paying a whopping fine to giants like Microsoft, Twentieth Century Fox and Sony.
Basically, he’s now desperate for people to view his video denouncing piracy and apologising for his actions.

Confused? We don’t blame you – so lets clear it up.
After being caught, and convicted of software piracy, the man known as Jakub, was told that if he made the video, he would not get sued.
Jakub had been at it for eight years, and needed the clip to be viewed at least 200,000 times for his end of the deal to be held up.

He said:
I had to start this site, because I have spread pirated software for eight years and they caught me.
I thought I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I thought it does not hurt the big companies.
I did not do it for money after all, I did it for fun.
I was convinced that I was too small a fish for someone to grab me. Well, finally, they got me.
His clip has been viewed 600,000 times, so Jakub appears to have escaped – for now.
