Family members of Osama Bin Laden have reportedly been killed in a private jet crash in Hampshire on Friday.
Bin Laden’s sister, stepmother and brother-in-law and the pilot of the plane all died when the jet came down over a car auction near Blackbushe Airport, close to the Surrey border.
The Saudi Arabian embassy in the UK confirmed that the Jordanian pilot, Bin Laden’s stepmother Rajaa Hashim, his half-sister Sana bin Laden and her husband Zuhair Hashim died after the jet exploded into a huge fireball when it hit a carpark at the British Car Auction. Nobody on the ground was injured in the crash.
In a statement, the Saudi ambassador to the UK, Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud, offered condolences to the Bin Laden family.
The statement said:
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf Al Saud has paid his condolences to the family and relatives of Mohammed bin Laden at Blackbushe airport in Britain for the great loss they have suffered as a result of the crash of the plane that was carrying the family.

The airfield has been closed and the crash is not thought to be terrorism related.
In a statement, Blackbushe Airport, in Yateley, said the jet had crashed near the end of the runway while attempting to make a landing.
Phil Giles, a former air accident investigator, said:
It suggests that the plane either landed too late or tried to take off again when the pilot realised it wasn’t going to make the end of the runway. Or it may have been a problem with the brakes.
