The parents of Otto Warmbier have revealed the horrifying state he returned from North Korea in after reportedly being tortured and falling into a coma.

Their 22-year-old son died soon after he returned from his 18-month imprisonment at the hands of Kim Jong-un’s regime, and he was blind, deaf, and had mangled teeth when they first saw him.

Fred and Cindy Warmbier told Fox News that they heard a ‘howling’ sound when they walked up the steps of the medical that brought Otto back to Cincinnati on June 13 this year.

Fred argued firmly that North Korea is not a victim, but a ‘terrorist’ state.

Fred Warmbier said:

Otto was on the stretcher and he was jerking violently, making these inhuman sounds. Cindy and Greta ran off the plane. Austin and I walked over to Otto. Otto had a shaved head, he had a feeding tube coming out of his nose, he was staring blankly, he was staring into space jerking violently, he was blind, he was deaf.

As we looked at him, it looked like someone had taken a pair of pliers and re-arranged his bottom teeth.

Within two days of Otto being home his fever spiked to 104 degrees, he had a large scar on his right foot. North Korea is not a victim, they purposely and intentionally injured Otto.

Otto spent 18 months in a North Korean prison after being sentenced to 15 years of hard labour for attempting to steal a propaganda poster from a hotel in January 2016.

He returned to his family unable to communicate as it emerged he had been in a coma for over a year.

Officials in North Korea claimed the US student contracted botulism and fell into a coma due to a sleeping pill, although this has yet to be confirmed. According to CNN, his family declined an autopsy to investigate Otto’s death.
