Paul Walker’s daughter, Meadow, has just settled her wrongful death lawsuit against Porsche, over her father’s tragic death in November 2013.

18-year-old Meadow Walker is the sole daughter of the deceased film actor, who sued Porsche in 2015 claiming Paul Walker was trapped by a faulty seat belt and burned alive while in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.

It’s been reported by The Blast Meadow reached a resolution with Porsche on October 16 with terms of the settlement confidential, with both parties requesting the dismissal of the wrongful death case.

Paul Walker died aged just 40, in a high-speed crash which turned the car into a fireball. The fatal incident happened over Thanksgiving weekend in November 2013 after Paul had attended his charity event for typhoon victims.

Meadow’s subsequent lawsuit alleged Porsche knew the Carrera GT had a history of ‘instability and control issues’ and her father was trapped by a faulty seat belt.

The Porsche was going between 80 and 93 mph in a 45 mph zone when it careened off the road, striking a concrete lamp post and two trees before becoming engulfed in flames.

Court documents also showed Paul’s father, Paul William Walker III, also settled his own lawsuit against Porsche. After a year of silence, Meadow has now become vocal on social media.

Meadow was previously awarded $10.1 million in a 2016 settlement from the estate of Roger Rodas. 38-year-old Rodas was behind the wheel of the Carrera GT and also died in the crash.

Paul was filming Furious 7 at the time of his death and his brothers, Caleb and Cody, served as stand-ins to finish his scenes.

Meadow is Paul’s daughter with his ex-girlfriend Rebecca Soteros and her godfather is Fast and the Furious star, Vin Diesel.

After Paul’s tragic and untimely passing, his Fast and Furious franchise co-star Vin Diesel posted an emotional tribute to his late friend.

On the set of Fast and Furious 8, he posted a message on Instagram, sharing a touching account he had with one of the crew members.

In the caption, alongside a photo of him and Walker smiling, Diesel wrote:

Many of the crew members who have worked on several of the past Fast films are here again to help us make something special.

One of them at the end of the week came up to me and said wow what we are capturing on film is excellent… And then looked at me and said Paul would be proud.

Walker was not part of the latest instalment of the series, The Fate of The Furious which opened earlier this year.

The film pays a subtle tribute to Paul, when Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto names his child Brian, after Brian O’Conner.

The Hollywood actor and adrenaline junkie joined the Fast and Furious franchise back in 2001, at the beginning of the street racing epic action saga.

He dazzled audiences with his stunt work, as well as his grasp of the human condition in some of the more emotionally-charged film scenes.

RIP Paul.
