Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, probably didn’t expect the reaction she received when she decided to share a set of festive family photos online…

People, as they often do, (especially on social media), noticed something quite disturbing in one of the photos.

The collection of images featured her son, along with husband Jared Kushner on a fishing trip, innocent, right? Wrong.

Anybody knows if you post something online, really do look at the bigger picture because people literally pick up on anything and everything – even if it’s something far away in the background.

Well this is exactly what’s happened.

In one of the photos, in the background, you can see a boat with a Confederate flag flying from it.

Some had Ivanka Trump‘s back, saying the flag was on another boat and thus simply a coincidence.

One wrote: ‘I despise the Trumps as much as the next decent human being, but I have to say that this is a bit of a reach.’

Which was replied to by another user, saying:

I agree. They are horrible people, but unless they were paying that guy back there to follow them around while they took family pics… Hey, now that I think about it, they just might!

Somebody else who’s clearly not a fan of Ivanka is none other than Eminem, whose lyrics about the president’s daughter caused a stir earlier this month.

Now we all know (and if you don’t, where have you been?) Eminem hates Donald Trump. Hates him!

It started earlier in the year with his blistering freestyle aimed squarely at POTUS and now with his new album, the First Family are in his crosshairs once again.

Shady’s music has always been draped in questionable lyrics and grim depictions of violence, but this lyric in particular actually upset a lot of people.

It appears on the track ‘Framed’, about a minute and a half in:

Donald Duck’s on as the Tonka Truck in the yard, but dog how the f*ck is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car?

Gotta get to the bottom of it to try to solve it, must go above and beyond, ’cause it’s incumbent upon

Me, ’cause I feel somewhat responsible for the dumb little blonde girl.

Violence against women is not a matter for trivialisation, especially in the limited context of a rap lyric, where nuance is incredibly difficult to achieve.

The issue here is not his calling out of Trump – something which he’s well within his rights to do (and something quite a lot of his fans will surely be lapping up), but violence against women should not be used as a storytelling tool on either side of the political spectrum.

Seems like people are angry at Donald Trump and as she’s a relation, she gets some of the stick!
