Katie Hopkins is more unpopular than usual after her comments about refugees, but now one man has hit back – and has the support of most of the UK.
Ben Fletcher has launched a petition to replace the TV personality with 50,000 Syrian refugees, and the idea has gone down a treat.
The petition is gathering pace, and according to Fletcher, does have a serious point behind it, and has not just been done for attention.

He claimed:
I am glad that people are sharing this and it is getting more people talking about the need to do more for refugees, that was always the aim, it was never meant in bad taste.
I am also glad that it is being used as an outlet to give your true feeling about Hopkins, some of the reasons for signing are truly brilliant.
There is however a serious point behind this petition and that is that there are thousands and thousands of people who need our help, I am going to update this with the information of a few charities that are working to help refugees and save lives, if you can help and donate then please do so.
The petition has gained tens of thousands of signatures in a short space of time, and only looks set to rise.
Hopkins is yet to apologise or retract her awful comments, but it seems that more and more people are pledging their support for the refugees, including Bob Geldof, football clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris.
