The injured photographer who was mowed down by Justin Bieber’s truck has an upliftingly forgiving attitude.
57-year-old Maurice Lamont had been papping pics of Justin leaving a Beverley Hills church service when the 23-year-old popstar accidently knocked into him.
In all fairness to Justin, he immediately exited his vehicle to look after Maurice until emergency services could get to him.
Thankfully, Maurice’s injuries are not life threatening and he is now recovering in hospital.
The photographer even took the time to absolve Justin Bieber of any guilt, uploading a video from his hospital bed where he described the young singer as being ‘compassionate’ after the accident.

Just as he was about to get x-rays taken, Maurice, who also goes by the nickname Shotgetter, recorded the following message for his Instagram followers:
Hour before my birthday hits, I get ran over by Justin Bieber. Isn’t that something?
He’s a good kid though. I think the truck was a little bit too big for him though, because there’s no way he could see over the front. It was the slope it was on.
But, like I said, he got out, he was compassionate. He’s a good kid, accidents happen. Hopefully, everything works out here.
Here’s hoping that merciful Maurice has a full recovery and that his next birthday is less eventful…
