Piers Morgan and Tommy Robinson – two characters people seemingly love or hate.
Well this morning, the pair faced off against one another on live TV to discuss Tommy’s right-wing views.
It’s fair to say Piers went all-in on the former EDL leader Robinson, blasting him as a ‘bigoted lunatic, stirring up hatred.’
Check out the brutal clip below:

During the segment on ‘Good Morning Britain’, Robinson pulled out a copy of the Koran, branding it a ‘violent and cursed book’, blaming the book for ‘the reason we are in such a mess’.
Piers continued to blast him saying:
Show some damn respect for people’s religious beliefs, you’re being a complete disgrace.
We’re in this mess because people take Islam, they are terrorists and they abuse the nature of Islam and… perpetrate evil.
Robinson seemingly refused to accept Islam as a religion and spoke about Islamophobia.
He said:
Islam is an idea – a bad idea.
There’s no such word as Islamophobia – a phobia is an irrational fear, it’s not irrational to fear these things.
Robinson’s appearance on the show comes after the right-wing activist was slammed for a tweet he posted yesterday.
In the tweet, which was sent just one hour after a group of Muslims were mowed down, he accused the Finsbury Park mosque of ‘creating terrorists’.
One man died and 10 were left injured – two seriously – in the horrific attack which happened outside the Muslim Welfare Centre in Seven Sisters Road, just before 12.30am yesterday morning.
Darren Osborne, a Cardiff dad-of-four, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and terrorism offences.
Robinson branded the incident as a ‘revenge attack’, saying:
I’ve warned for years what you will create.
As things became heated in the segment, Piers played a clip of Robinson speaking at a rally in 2011 in which he said:
Every single Muslim watching this video on YouTube, on 7/7 you got away with killing and maiming British citizens.
To which Robinson hit back saying Morgan had an ‘agenda’ by playing the video.
As Robinson continued with his rants, he implied Piers had a problem with his ‘accent’, leaving Piers to blast him saying:
Don’t play the class card with me.
Robinson, who is now the leader of anti-Islam group Pegida UK, said to Piers:
You’ve repeated what I’ve said for 10 years speaking better English.
Since the tragic attack, The Muslim Council of Britain has appealed for calmness.
An heroic imam was also praised for his efforts in calming the chaotic situation during the aftermath.
