Piers Morgan Says Topless Emma Watson Picture Was ‘Attention Seeking’

By :

After Emma Watson posed without a bra for Vanity Fair, critics said the photo shoot ‘undermines her values as a feminism’.

Apparently, being a feminist means you can’t have boobs.

And a lot of people – including Watson herself – weren’t having it.

Responding to the criticism, the actress told the BBC:

Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women. It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality.

I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing.

Case closed, really.

Feminism, by definition, is the belief that men and women should have equal opportunities and rights. It does not mean that a woman standing up for gender equality is a hypocrite for showing her body.

But apparently a few people didn’t get the memo.

Piers Morgan called out Emma Watson for ‘seeking attention’, saying the actress – who is also a feminist campaigner and UN ambassador – anticipated the backlash. And that’s why she did the photo shoot.

He wrote: “Oh pur- lease! That’s why she did it…”

And the responses to Piers’ tweets show just how misinformed the masses are about what feminism actually is:

Despite the ongoing criticism, however, Watson remains adamant that her decision to pose topless and her boobs have nothing to do with her stance on feminism.

Given that we are living in 2017, surely we can all agree that women and men can both wear whatever the hell they want and think how they please.

Feminism is about freedom and equality. Not tits. Calm down, everyone.
