PAA Burmese military plane carrying 116 people has gone missing in Burma.
Though little is known at the minute, the military plane reportedly vanished between the southern cities of Myeik and Yangon, reports The Independent.
An airport source is reported as revealing that the plane was carrying 11 crew members and 105 passengers, believed to be family members of military men and women.

A statement released by the army reads:
Communication was lost suddenly at about 1.35pm (8.05 BST) when it reached about 20 miles west of Dawei town.
A search and rescue mission is reportedly ongoing.
GettyThe statement added that the plane was flying above the Andaman Sea at the time of its disappearance – leading dozens of ships and boats to be involved in the search mission.
Speaking to AFP, a source who wished to remain anonymous said:
We think it was a technical failure. Weather is fine there.
