YouTube GTA is one of the most loved series around, and has certainly been the subject of a few mashups, but this one could well be the most compelling yet.
One guy is such a fan of both GTA and Pokémon that he has recreated Pokémon in GTA V – as a birthday present to himself – and it is certainly something.
It’s one of those things that could be amazing, and could also be epically weird, but in the birthday spirit, let’s go with it being amazing.
Merfish, who created the video, claimed:
Today I turn 23, and for 17 years of those I have devoted my life to Pokémon.
It’s one of the few video game series that match GTA in my heart, so surely a combination of the two would be something special, at least for me.
So this is my birthday gift to myself, that I wish to share with all of you.
