Remember the clown who was terrorising school children in Kent?
Well apparently police now believe they know who it is. They told the Sevenoaks Chronicle that they’ve spoken to a teenager about the incidents.
Pupils were told to ‘go straight home after school’ recently, after several kids were stalked by people in vans wearing clown masks.
Chief Inspector Dave Pate from Tunbridge Wells police said:
While it’s not unusual for people to be wearing fancy dress, including masks (in the run-up to Halloween and Bonfire Night), I would warn everyone to celebrate responsibly and not do anything which may cause alarm, distress of fear to others.
Anyone found to be committing an offence will be dealt with appropriately.
No clowning about allowed in Kent, apparently…
