Scotland Yard launched an appeal to trace the man after CCTV footage was released showing him carrying out the voyeuristic act shortly after midday on November 5.
Metropolitan PoliceThe incident occurred on a branch of the high street chemist in the Tandem Centre, Colliers Wood in south London, police said.
It’s believed the man was pretending to browse the aisles before he targeted a fellow female shopper.
Metropolitan PoliceThe man – who’s described as in his 20’s and wearing a grubby t-shirt – checks to see if the coast is clear before crouching down and holding his phone between the victim’s legs as he takes a photo. Grim.
Bizarrely, he returned moments later to crouch down again and snap more photos with the victim it seems, completely unaware.
Metropolitan PoliceHe was challenged by a security guard – who demanded that he delete the inappropriate images – before he was allowed to leave the store.
Police are describing the suspect as a slim, 6ft tall white man with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was seen wearing a white Adidas t-shirt with a dark patch at the base, navy blue tracksuit bottoms and brown shoes.
