Politician’s Meghan Markle Abortion Tweet Could Land Her In Trouble

A seemingly innocent tweet from an Irish politician may have landed Meghan Markle in trouble during her visit to the country.

Harry and Meghan were attending a summer party held at the British Ambassador’s residence in Dublin, when senator Catherine Noone of Fine Gael talked with Meghan.

The Duke and Duchess are in Ireland for a two-day trip.

It’s their first overseas engagement since their wedding, and Meghan’s first international engagement as a Royal, according to The Sun.

However, senator Noone may have landed Meghan in hot water with her new family after she tweeted about the event.

Noone tweeted a picture of the two of them with an accompanying caption, which read:

A pleasure to meet Prince Harry & the Duchess of Sussex at the British Ambassador’s Residence this evening.

The Duchess & I had a chat about the recent referendum result – she watched with interest & was pleased to see the result.

However, senator Noone has since amended her tweet.

It now reads:

A pleasure to meet Prince Harry & the Duchess of Sussex at the British Ambassador’s Residence this evening. #harryandmeghan #royalcouple #meghanmarkle

The message caused some Twitter users to point out that, if Meghan had said what senator Noone was claiming, she may have inadvertently broken Royal protocol by sharing her personal view on a political event.

One person wrote:

You’ve landed her right in it!!

While others said:

You may have landed her in hot water there. Major faux pas on Meghan’s part

The senator then clarified her meaning, saying (in another tweet she has since deleted):

I should say she seem pleased – she was interested and very measured, not political at all.

Of course, this isn’t the first time eagled-eyed followers of the new Royal think they’ve spotted her bending the rules.

Back in June, Meghan was papped sitting with her legs in something other than the ‘Duchess Slant’ pose, an alleged favourite of Kate Middleton.

The slant, which involves clasping your knees and ankle together before leaning your pins to one side, hasn’t been adopted by the new Duchess of Sussex. And devout followers of the other Duchess were not happy about it.

Instead, Meghan crosses her legs. It’s almost as if she’s allowed to make her own decisions or something…

When it comes to the revolutionary act of crossing her legs, Meghan’s being chill in her new absurd career change. She’s even going round giving members of her new family nicknames.

Of course, it must be difficult to adjust from the American actor life to being a member of the royal family, and nicknames are the best way to break the ice, right?

Editor of Majesty magazine, Ingrid Seward, revealed Meghan may refer to The Queen as ‘Mama’, the Mirror reported recently.

Of course, this nickname will only be permitted for use once Meghan is fully immersed in royal protocol, and once she knows The Queen in the same way Princess Diana did.

For now, it’s just as we imagined, and the Duchess of Sussex must address The Queen as ‘Your Majesty’, as well as adding a curtsey.
