When Father Tom Uzhunnalil joined the priesthood he didn’t expect to be crucified.

But fears are growing that this will become his ultimate fate, after a revolting tirade of disturbing reports and rumours were brought into the limelight to suggest so, according to the Mirror.

Father Tom was seized when armed militants stormed an old people’s home in Aden in Yemen on March 4, and though no group has come forward to claim responsibility for the attack, survivors argue it was ISIS.

In the attack, the militants gunned down 16 individuals, including four nuns.

The Franciscan Sisters of Siessen, a religious mission based in South Africa, posted the below message on Facebook, which has since been shared thousands of times:

Members from Fr. Tom’s church immediately stepped forward to deny the claims – but worryingly, they too cannot disprove them.

It seems fitting that the Islamic State ideology would thrive on the thought of crucifying a Christian priest on the anniversary of Jesus’ own execution.

The only definite survivor of the terrorist attack, Sister Sally, has spoken out about the attackers which she says where definitely ISIS.

Her petrifying story, of how she escaped death by hiding behind a door, was reported in the Christian Post.

It reads:

They were killed one by one. They tied them to trees, shot them in the head and smashed their heads.

These ISIS men were everywhere, searching for her, as they knew there were five [nuns].

At least three times they came into the refrigerator room. She did not hide, but remained standing behind the door — they never saw her. This is miraculous.

This shocking news comes just hours after news broke of a Congolese priest, who had spent his life campaigning against genocide, was gunned down by unidentified gunmen.
