A classic quote from Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas and one which has always rang true for me. But now (there’s always a but), I’m starting to wonder whether maybe just a tiny part of Christmas can come from a store.
Why? Well, Primark has launched a Grinch themed nightwear range, just in time for the new film release on November 9 – and Christmas, of course.
The range includes not only pyjamas, but a green and red cosy-looking onesie (complete with a Santa hat to remind you of the time he stole Christmas from the unsuspecting Who’s), as well as some snuggly slippers with his face on.

With the slippers costing just £8 and the onesie coming in at £16, there’s really no excuse for you to not turn up to your Christmas movie marathons in anything other than these.
Siri, where’s the nearest Primark? No, seriously, I need that onesie ASAP.
Their website dedicates an entire page to the range, titled ‘Go Green For Grinch’ and boasts a wide range of PJ’s – meaning you’re not short of options when it comes to getting into the Christmas spirit.
The page reads:
If all those festive feels are leaving you a little disgruntled, why not show off your inner Grinch with pride, in our new novelty collection.
Your friends are going to be green with envy when they see your Grinch knits and PJs…and did we mention there’s a onesie?
Really, this range is the perfect idea because I don’t know a single person who doesn’t relate to the Grinch in some way.
Wallowing in self-pity, cancelling dinner plans with ourselves, and wrestling with self-loathing – who hasn’t been the Grinch at one time in their lives?
Because of this, I’m betting the PJ’s will be sold out pretty soon, so head to your nearest Primark if you want to get your hands on them. Especially if you think they’ll make the perfect gift for someone!
And if you know any Grinch’s personally, make sure to get them into a store quickly. Who knows, maybe a Christmas miracle will happen and their heart will grow three sizes?
If that isn’t enough for you though, there’s now a Grinch themed hotel room which is opening just in time for Christmas!
Laterooms.com has launched a competition where you – and your favourite grouchy buddy – can stay at The Strand Palace, a four star hotel in London’s West End for one night only – December 20, 2018.
The room itself will be decked out in all things Grinch; complete with green furniture, a sleigh bed, and presents under the Christmas tree from the man himself.
But that’s not all. The lucky winners will also receive tickets to attend an ice-skating evening – which they’ll be taken to on a horse drawn carriage – and will be able to see the new Grinch movie at the cinema.
Late RoomsTo be in with a chance, all you have to do is visit the Late Rooms website and answer the question :‘What do you love most about Christmas?’. Which should be pretty easy for all us non-Grinch’s out there.
